UNMET NEEDS PROGRAM
FINANCIAL GRANTS
We understand the challenges veterans, service members and military families can face and believe that experiencing financial difficulties should not be one of them. That's the premise behind the VFW's Unmet Needs program. For over 56 years, Post 8273 has been providing aid, assistance and relief to local veterans and their families during times of need.
ASSISTANCE
The Frisco Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8273 provides unique and urgently needed services that improve the lives of veterans, military personnel and their families all the while supporting positive citizen involvement for the betterment of Collin and Denton County Communities. Our varied programs include, but not limited to, financial grants for military families in need to help pay for rent, mortgage, utilities, medical treatment, food, etc.
The needs of our veterans, service members and their families should never go unmet. Let us offer you a hand up when you need it! Please review the Unmet Needs eligibility criteria.
Each case will be carefully reviewed for its own merits. Upon approval, payments will be made for you directly to the creditor.
All applications are individually reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Submitting an application does not guarantee payment of funds.
The Frisco VFW reserves the right to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
